Edmund had a wonderful opportunity to exhibit his paintings to old friends and new at the 35th Annual Irish Cultural Day at the Church of St Mel in Flushing, NY Sunday, March 6, 2011. The event was sponsored by L.A.O.H Div. 15. It was raining cats and dogs most of the day but good cheer prevailed in the hall thanks to lots of tea, soda bread and spirited dance and musical performances!

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore gave the place of honor to Edmund’s classic work, Next Parish, America, on the front cover of their annual dinner journal. Edmund was delighted to attend their dinner on Friday, March 11, in Spring Lake, and to celebrate with Bob Curley, 2011 Irishman of the Year, and the other honorees.
