- The "Citation of Achievement" was presented
to Edmund Sullivan by the Honorable Philip Healy.
A big turnout and much merriment made the show a
big success for Mr. Francis Flood, left, who organized
the exhibit and sale of Limited-Edition Prints.

Washington, D.C. -
The Honorable Tadge O'Sullivan, Irish Ambassador
to America, congratulates Edmund Sullivan at a dinner
sponsored by the American-Irish Foundation in Washington,
D.C. Also in attendance were the last five Irish
Ambassadors to the US. Each received a framed, limited-edition
Irish Heritage Print.

Albany,
NY - Seventeen
Irish paintings by Edmund Sullivan were exhibited
by the Irish American Museum in Albany. The exhibit
was arranged by Joseph Dolan, chairman (left) and
the ceremony was conducted by Mayor Thomas M. Whalen
(right).

Atlanta,
GA
- Delta Airlines commissioned Edmund Sullivan
to paint an 18" x 19" oil of Ireland
for their poster presentation of it in airports
and corporate offices in Atlanta. The poster was
part of their celebration in opening the air corridor
from Atlanta, GA to Shannon. Besides the $5,000
payment, the artist also received $500 for his
original drawing and a free round-trip airfare
to Ireland.

White Plains, NY -
Westchester County Executive, Andrew P. O'Rourke,
honored Edmund Sullivan with the title: Official
Westchester County Artist. The title was the first
ever given to honor a full-time artist in the
county's history.

Gold Award
- Edmund Sullivan won the coveted Gold Award at
the 5th and 6th Annual Extemporanea Art Competition
and Auction on the Historic Hudson River. Over 100
professional artists selected subjects and worked
throughout the day to finish before 5PM. Circolo
da Vince Artists association hosted.

Brings Recognition
American
Artist Magazine
featured Edmund Sullivan in their November '90
issue. "The Irish Coast" and "The
Shepherd's Farm" highlighted the article,
"How To Be A Successful Artist." Edmund
explains how he approached the marketplace and
how it gave him the freedom so necessary to being
the best artist he could be without compromising
his beliefs or time to paint. This
interview and the international prestige of American
Artist solidifies another level of achievement
in the artist's continuing career. His roots deepen
in this century's list of "Who's Who"
in Art both in America and worldwide.

Uses Sullivan's Print
Our Heritage
Series Limited-Edition "Late Morning Fires"
can
be seen in the parlor "decor" of the Irish
Production - CAL, now on video. "Late Morning
Fires" is now sold out and selling on the secondary
market at $750.

The Heritage Series "Sunday Morning" as
well as the Canvas Prints

selected as "set decor" on The Irish Scene.
This delightful show is aired bi-weekly on Channel
6, Beverly Cable TV and hosted by Denis O'Gorman.

Raising Record
Non-Profit Irish
organizations have hit an all-time record in raising
over $350,000 raffling off Edmund Sullivan's Heritage
Series Limited-Edition Prints. 100% of all proceeds
have helped those Irish in need in hundreds of situations
and continue to do so.

Star Commissions Artist
Hollywood screen
actor, Sean McClory, has commissioned Sullivan to
paint the Spanish Parade in Galway City. The actor
is famed for his character roles in dozens of movies.
His latest - the late John Houston's "The Dead."
